Introduce yourself
I am a Finance Business Partner with more than two decades of experience in financial management, budgeting, KPI reporting, ERP implementations, and cross‑functional collaboration across multinational environments.
My role today in NDT Global spans several divisions—Software/IT, Data Services, Data Management, and Technology Services—where I lead month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and project analysis. I also bring strong capabilities in CAPEX governance, ensuring that all software, data platform, IT, and TS investments are properly budgeted, monitored, capitalized, and aligned with group financial policies.
Can you tell us a bit about your professional journey and what led you to your current role?
My career began in accounting and administration roles, where I built a solid foundation in financial operations, tax compliance, treasury, and reporting. Over time, I progressed into roles with increasing responsibility—Accountant, Finance Controller, Finance Manager, and eventually Finance Business Partner.
A few milestones shaped my path: I worked in different sectors, including furniture manufacturing company for 4 years, multinational real estate company for 12 years and a publishing company for 4 years. In 2015, I joined NDT Global, based in Barcelona, Spain —11 years ago already, time flies! . I started in a local finance and office management role, internalizing the finance department from the ground up and gradually expanding my responsibilities into HR, Legal, and site leadership.
This combination of operational finance, strategic reporting, and cross‑functional leadership naturally led to my current role as Finance Business Partner—starting with Data Services, continuing with Software and IT, and most recently Technology Services—supporting these teams and driving their financial performance.
Which initiative/project are you most proud of and why?
I am proud to have contributed to the growth of the Barcelona office by improving employee benefits and, together with the Leadership Team, positioning Barcelona firmly on the NDT Global map.
I am particularly proud of the collaborative and cross‑functional aspect of my role. Finance is not only about providing accurate numbers—it is about building strong partnerships, working closely with different departments, and contributing to shared goals.
At NDT, we have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries, cultures, and ways of working. This diversity enriches my perspective, challenges us to adapt, and enables continuous learning and professional growth.
It is this dynamic environment—where finance supports, connects, and enables the business—that I find especially rewarding.
What is one part of your work that you enjoy doing and why?
I enjoy the Business Partnering aspect—collaborating with Software, IT, Data Services, and Technology Services teams, learning every day, understanding their challenges, helping them interpret financials, and supporting decision‑making. This cross‑functional engagement brings variety, impact, and a strong sense of contribution to the business.
I really enjoy working with data to enhance the quality of our analysis, and I am trying continuously developing my skills in BI platforms to create efficient reporting that supports the business in making informed decisions.
How do you ensure that our clients are getting the best through our services?
Within the Finance department, we ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency across all reporting and project performance processes.
For example:
Ensuring labor utilization is correctly measured and reported.
Maintaining compliance with internal policies and CAPEX governance.
Collaborating with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders to uphold trust and credibility.
Continuously improving and learning systems as SAP, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance visibility and control, working closely with our BI team.
