Paul Cooper
President

Paul has over 20 years of experience managing innovative technical inspection companies, bringing new advanced solutions to the market. His wide range of industry experience and successful business track record includes CEO and senior leadership roles at TSC Subsea, Halfwave, Oceaneering, and AGR Pipetech where his skills in management, market development, growth strategy, and sales played key roles in the achievement of outstanding performances.
Further to these experiences, Paul also held the position of Senior VP, Technology as a Service (TaaS) at Previan, NDT Global’s parent company, where he steered the deployment of the business strategy within Previan’s business units, stimulating growth and alignment with the company’s mission to keep the world’s infrastructure safe and productive.

Garrett Fitzsimons
Senior Vice President - Operations

With over 25 years of building successful data and software teams (IBM, DHL, EDS), Garrett has an in-depth knowledge of how to address business problems with technology. He is responsible for all data topics within NDT Global concerning data analysis, integrity services, big data, business intelligence, software, governance, and infrastructure.
Garrett is passionate about delivering clarity for our customers through better data outcomes, focusing on engagement and on quality of content and delivery. Prior to NDT Global, Garrett was Director of Data Engineering at ServiceSource where he delivered data solutions to the world's largest technology organizations including Google, Microsoft, and Red Hat.

Muthu Chandrasekaran
Senior Vice President - Global Sales

With over two decades of leadership experience in the energy sector, Muthu has established a proven track record in driving corporate strategy, business development, and managing divisional P&L operations. As a key leader at NDT Global, he spearheads the organization’s revenue and growth strategies while overseeing global business development initiatives.
Muthu began his career at Pure Technologies, where he excelled in leadership roles as the Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, and Senior Vice President of Energy Pipelines with full P&L accountability, and was a key member of the senior leadership team when the company was acquired by Xylem Inc. Prior to joining NDT Global, he served as Vice President at Xylem, where he was responsible for two divisions within the Advanced Infrastructure Analytics unit—a key growth area for the company providing high-value solutions to manage infrastructure integrity.
A registered professional engineer, Muthu holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, underscoring his technical foundation and commitment to excellence in the industry. He has also completed numerous leadership & Finance programs at the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Ranbir is a design-driven strategic leader with a proven track record of transforming organizations to improve growth, profitability, and differentiated customer value through big-picture thinking and solving complex, customer problems with innovative solutions. 
His diverse background spans consumer, business-to-business, enterprise, and small and medium-sized business markets, gaining extensive experience across various business models in industries including media production, construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, and industrial automation. Throughout his career, Ranbir has consistently delivered sustainable success and cultivated high-performing teams by fostering a culture deeply rooted in data-driven operational excellence, customer centricity, inclusivity, and transparency.
Ranbir leads NDT Global's Marketing, Technology (Research and Development), Product Management, and Dynamic Risk teams.

Dr. Thomas Hennig
Chief of Technology

Thomas started his career 15 years ago in a pipeline inspection research center, focused on MFL Hardware and Software development. Throughout his career, Thomas has led interdisciplinary teams for Ultrasonic corrosion Data analysis, Software, and algorithm development.
When joining NDT Global ten years ago, Thomas took over the role of a Product Manager responsible for the liquid ILI services provided by the company. He has been an advocate of the creation of Ultrasonic Geometry and Enhanced sizing, Eclipse and Proton (Phased Array) development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our services.
In early 2020, Thomas joined the RnD department as VP Technology. He is now focusing on managing the global team to develop the latest technologies for even more accurate and precise pipeline inspection solutions.

Melinda Colwell
Vice President - People and Culture

Melinda, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Vice President of People and Culture, spearheading the company's global human resources operations. In her role, she formulates the People and Culture strategy to align with the organization's overarching business objectives. Melinda collaborates closely with Previan and NDT Global to harmonize processes and standards, ensuring effective functionality across Reward, Talent Development, People and Culture, Payroll, and Talent Sourcing in order to enhance operational efficiency and generate measurable value.
With two decades of human resources expertise, Melinda has worked in various capacities within the oil and gas sector for both public and private global corporations. Her extensive experience encompasses talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee wellness, compliance, and employee learning and development. Melinda joined NDT Global in 2017 and has held numerous positions, such as People and Culture Manager in Leduc, Senior People and Culture Manager for North America, and Director of Global Talent Management at Previan. In December 2022, she returned to NDT Global to lead the global human resources function as the Director of People and Culture.

Conal Casey
Vice President - Finance

With over 15 years of experience in finance leadership roles, Conal has worked for various global and multinational companies across production, retail, and service industries. He has provided expert financial analysis to enhance business understanding, deliver process improvements, and improve cashflow. His experience ranges from business acquisitions, integrations, divestments, restructuring, and systems integration.
Conal joined NDT Global in 2024 and is responsible for all aspects of financial management.

Martin Theriault

Martin drives NDT Global’s overall strategic vision. A late-blooming entrepreneur with a solid corporate background, Martin is committed to building an exceptional company that goes above and beyond the norm. His business passion revolves around technology, customer-centricity, and accomplishing what others fail to envision.

Alexandre Goulet
Director

Alex is a Vice President in the Technologies Group at Novacap, where he plays a key role in sourcing and executing new investments, partnering with portfolio companies, and supporting management teams in driving strategic initiatives.
Before joining Novacap, Alex was part of the Investment Banking team at BMO Capital Markets, where he was involved in numerous M&A and debt financing transactions across various sectors.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from McGill University and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Syntax and Cadent.

André Levesque
Director

For over 10 years, André Lévesque has held the position of Managing Director, Québec, at La Caisse (formerly CDPQ), where he manages and executes strategic investments in Québec companies. His mandate is to support their growth, both organically and through acquisitions.
Prior to this, he spent eight years as Regional Vice-President, Investment, at Desjardins Capital, after serving six years as Senior Director at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
Throughout his career, André has sat on numerous Boards of Directors of successful Québec companies. He is currently involved with Previan, NDT Global, H2O Innovation and Solmax. He is a graduate of the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR).

Chad Niehaus
Director

Chad Niehaus has more than two decades of leadership experience in the pipeline inspection industry. He served as President/CEO and partner of Onstream Pipeline Inspection until 2020, where he helped guide the company’s growth and strategic development, including Onstream’s two successful sales processes: the 2015 partnership with Novacap’s Fund IV and the 2018 sale of Onstream to Mistras. Prior to that, he held operational, technology, and commercial leadership roles with GE PII from 1998 to 2007. Since retiring from Onstream, Mr. Niehaus has been an active partner in multiple business ventures and is a Limited Partner in four of Novacap’s funds. In addition to serving on the NDT Global board, Mr. Niehaus also sits on two non-profit boards and is a partner and board member on two private corporations.

Kristin Smith
Director

Prior to joining Novacap, Kristin held senior roles in corporate finance and investment banking, including Director at KPMG Corporate Finance in Denver, where she led M&A advisory, equity, and debt financing transactions with a focus on Communications Technology. She also gained experience at Green, Manning & Bunch, Bank of Montreal, and KPMG in Toronto, working across corporate finance and audit.
In additional to NDT Global, Kristin currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Accurate and on the Board of Static Media. Previously, she was a member of the Board of Directors for Plusgrade and served as an observer on the Boards of Octasic and Dialogic.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. She is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Martin Laflamme-Mayer
Director

Martin Laflamme-Mayer is Managing Director and Operating Partner, Private Equity – Quebec at La Caisse. He leads value creation strategies, due diligence efforts and operational improvements across portfolio companies, working closely with executive teams and boards.
Previously, he served as Investment Director, Public Equities at La Caisse, where he contributed to the development of a portfolio exceeding $4 billion. He also held a leadership role at Solitek and was a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategic and operational transformations, notably in the basic materials sector.
Martin holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, and the Chartered Director designation. He also serves on Plusgrade’s board.

Samuel Nasso
Director

Samuel Nasso joined Novacap in 2012 as one of its first Analysts and became Partner in 2023. He has led numerous investments, M&As, IPOs, and take-private transactions, building deep expertise across technology sectors. Samuel played a pivotal role in growing Novacap’s presence in Ad-Tech and has expertise in non-destructive testing technologies. He is Chairman of the Board for Static Media and Cadent, and a board member for Previan. His previous board roles include Nuvei and Onstream.
